Covington Eastside Club will have angels available

ENID, Okla. — Covington Eastside Club will have angels available to pick up at Covington First Bank and Trust on Monday for the Adopt-An-Angel Project.

Presents should be limited to two packages and dropped off at the bank by Dec. 18.


The car/tractor/motorcycle show will be held from 2-4 p.m. today on Main Street in Covington, sponsored by the Covington Historical Society. They also will hold a bake sale and tours of the Covington Museum housed at Tri County Center. Donations are welcome for the museum.


There will be no school at Covington-Douglas for Thanksgiving break.

Dec. 2: 5-8th grade basketball teams will host DCLA at 4:30 p.m. Also the Covington-Douglas School Board will meet at 7:30 p.m.

Dec. 3: Wildcat Basketball at Pond Creek-Hunter at 6:30 p.m.

Dec. 4: 7-8th grade Academic Regional, 2 p.m. at Drummond.

Dec. 5: Band parade in Stillwater.

Dec. 6: Homecoming at Covington-Douglas as the Wildcats will host Waukomis at 6:30 p.m.

The basketball homecoming festivities will be prior to the game. A homecoming dance will follow the games.

Dec. 7: Skeltur Tournament for High School Academics Team all day at Covington-Douglas.

Dec. 9-14: High school basketball at Pond Creek-Hunter Tournament.
