Several ACs stolen from businesses, residences

ENID, Okla. — Sometime between Nov. 6 and 12, several air conditioners were stolen from businesses and residences in Enid.

The air conditioners range from window units to 2, 3 and 5-ton units, according to police. It is believed the subjects are stealing the air conditioners for the copper inside them.

The value of the property taken is estimated at $13,000.

Anyone having information that will lead to the arrest or prosecution of the crime or any other crime is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (580) 233-6233 or go to the website, www.enid.org/police/crime_stopper_tips.asp and submit a tip anonymously. You can earn a reward up to $1,000. You will not be required to testify and will not be identified.
