Lifelong Learning Institute classes begin 2nd semester

ENID, Okla. — The second semester of Lifelong Learning Institute classes started Tuesday at Central Christian Church multimedia center.

Administrative Director Lesa Bradford said there still is time to join for the eight-week semester. Classes meet each Tuesday and Thursday. Classes are 10 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday for the morning session and 1 p.m. for the afternoon session.

Subjects this semester are current events, taught by Bradford on Tuesday mornings; “Israel in the Time of Palestine” on Tuesday afternoons; genealogy on Thursday mornings; and cowboy literature on Thursday afternoons.

Enrollment for the semester is $100. Joining for two semesters is $150. The classes are open to anyone 50 or older, Bradford said.

“This is a no-stress, no-test learning environment for people who want to keep their minds active,” she said.

Anyone interested in enrolling in Lifelong Learning Institute classes should come to the class at 10 a.m. Tuesday or Thursday, Bradford said. Central Christian Church is at 1111 W. Broadway.
