State Sen. Patrick Anderson has been named to five committees by Senate President Pro Tempore Brian Bingman.
In addition to being chairman of the Appropriations Subcommittee on Non-Appropriated Agencies for the upcoming legislative session, Anderson, R-Enid, also is a member of the Pension, Judiciary, Veterans and Military Affairs and Business and Commerce committees.
Sen. Bryce Marlatt, R-Woodward, represents District 27, which includes much of northwest Oklahoma, is chairman of the Appropriations Subcommittee on General Government and Transportation and vice chairman of the Energy Committee. He also is a member of the General Government, Transportation, Appropriations and Rules committees.
Sen. Rob Johnson, R-Yukon, represents District 22, which includes part of Kingfisher County. He will be chairman of the Appropriations Subcommittee on Public Safety and Judiciary and vice chairman of the Judiciary and Rules committees.
His also will be a member of the General Government, Judiciary, Appropriations and Energy committees.
Bingman, R-Sapulpa, had made committee assignments for Republican members Monday. Committee chairmen and vice chairmen were announced last week.
“There is a tremendous depth and breadth of experience and talent to draw from in the Republican Caucus,” Bingman said. “We’ve worked to structure committee memberships that will enable us to build on an agenda dedicated to job creation and economic growth benefiting our state now and in the future.”
