Enid Police Department SWAT team and narcotics detectives arrested a fugitive wanted in North Carolina Wednesday morning after serving a search warrant in High Point Trailer Park.
Tony Demetrus Dunn, 26, was arrested on a warrant on charges of assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill and inflict serious injury, and robbery with a dangerous weapon out of Wake County, N.C.
Dunn was wanted for attacking a man with a knife Aug. 30 and taking $80 cash from the man.
The task force for the Raleigh (N.C.) Police Department contacted Enid police Tuesday afternoon with information about Dunn possibly being in Enid and staying with his mother. Enid detectives were able to confirm the information.
