Enid police investigate shooting

ENID, Okla. — A shooting Friday night being investigated by Enid police remains under investigation.

No injuries were reported following the incident at about 8:30 p.m. in the 400 block of South Jefferson.

Sgt. Quent Tubbs said Enid Police Department received a call at 8:31 p.m. reporting a shooting. The four victims were driving a small white four-door car and the suspects were driving a large white-colored SUV.

Police learned there was a verbal confrontation between individuals in the vehicles that began at D. Bruce Selby Stadium. Both vehicles traveled 10 blocks to the 400 block of South Jefferson, where multiple shots were fired from the SUV.

No one was injured and police recovered shell casings and other evidence from the scene. Tubbs said the investigation is ongoing.
