LAHOMA, Okla. — Lahoma Police Department are seeking the public’s help in identifying two young men suspected in an attempted burglary and a breaking and entering early Thursday morning.

Lahoma Police Chief Lloyd Cross said he received an alarm call at 4:25 a.m. Thursday after an attempted to break into the Lahoma Stop along U.S. 412. Video obtained by the store shows two young men in the area.

Cross said an unoccupied apartment behind Randy’s Auto Sales, also along U.S. 412, had been broken into, as well.

Cross said the department also suspects the young men might be involved in recent incidents at the Lahoma, Ringwood and Meno co-ops.

“We think they could possibly be related,” Cross said because of the timing of the incidents.

Anyone with information that could identify either person depicted in the video from the Lahoma Stop is asked to contact Lahoma Police Department at (580) 796-2700, Garfield County Sheriff’s Office at (580) 237-0240 or Major County Sheriff’s Office at (580 227-4472.
