MAPC to consider lowering the speed limit on Willow

ENID, Okla. — Metropolitan Area Planning Commission will meet Monday and consider, among other items, whether to lower the speed limit on Willow.

According to the agenda, MAPC could lower the speed on a stretch of roadway from 45 to 35 mph. The reason it is being considered is because that area is under the Prairie View Elementary school zone.

Commissioners also will consider a site development plan for Xpress Wellness Urgent Care, which will be at 220 S. Van Buren. The 4,000-square-foot building is described as a walk-in clinic.

A final plat for Hearthstone Farms will be voted upon. Hearthstone Farms is located south of Garriott between Garland and Oakwood.

The MAPC then will consider development plans for Rauh Oilfield Services and Magellan Pipeline.

Magellan proposes building a quality control testing building at 4701 E. Willow. Rauh intends to build an 8,500-square-foot metal building for semi and trailer sales at 1622 Oklahoma 132.
