ENID, Okla. —
The city of Enid is one of 10 municipal organizations across the country to receive a 2013 Excellence in Operations Management Award presented by Cartegraph.
Cartegraph, of Dubuque, Iowa, is a provider of Operations Management System (OMS) technologies for the public sector. This is the first year Cartegraph has presented the awards.
Award nominees were judged on their municipal operations management efforts and achievements in five areas:
• Effective methods of work and data management.
• Tech-savvy approaches to resident engagement.
• Proactive solutions for public infrastructure management.
• Demonstrated leadership in the municipal industry.
• Data-driven methods of achieving ROI.
Four of the 10 award winners — including the city of Enid — received special Pioneer designation in recognition of their early adoption of municipal technology and long-standing commitment to helping other public-sector organizations develop technology strategies.
The city of Enid is “a thought leader in the municipal industry through its focused, data-driven approach to achieving a return on their organization’s technology investment,” according to Cartegraph.
“Most recently, Enid worked closely with Cartegraph in the development of the solid waste app that helps the city be more proactive in its approach to work, asset, resource and request management,” according to Cartegraph.
Cartegraph designs and builds technology for public-sector agencies.
