ENID, Okla. —
The city of Enid is accepting applications to fill five vacancies on city advisory boards.
Advisory boards are appointed boards that make recommendations to the Enid City Commission on matters related to the boards’ area of responsibility.
Vacancies are open to be filled for the Police Civil Service Commission, Park Board and Library Board.
One vacancy will be filled on the Police Civil Service Commission. Any interested resident of the city is eligible to apply.
Two vacancies on the Park Board are open, to be filled by any interested resident. City commissioners added the two additional seats to the Park Board during the commission’s March 19 meeting, increasing the board to eight members.
The Library Board has two vacant seats to be filled by any interested resident.
Information and applications for these vacant board seats may be obtained through the office of the city clerk in the city administration building, 401 W. Garriott, or on the city’s website at www.enid.org.
Applications will be accepted until 5 p.m. March 27. The city commission will appoint board members from among the applicants.
The commission may request interviews with the applicants prior to making appointments. Notice of the board appointments will be given on the city commission agenda, available online at www.enid.org.
