Fairmont man injured when pickup hits a tree

ENID, Okla. — A Fairmont man was injured Thursday when his pickup left the roadway and struck a tree.

Calvin C. Eggers, 77, was taken to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center with head, arm, leg, trunk internal and external injuries.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports stated a 1988 Ford pickup driven by Eggers was traveling south on 114th at about 11:15 a.m.

Reports stated the vehicle left the roadway to the right and struck a tree. Seatbelts were equipped and in use.

OHP reports stated the cause of the accident was unknown medical issues.

Eggers is listed in satisfactory condition at St. Mary’s.
