ENID, Okla. —
Students at Enid High School will present the comedy mystery, “Death by Chocolate” Nov. 18 and 19.
In the play, Henry Meadowbrook, portrayed by EHS teacher Mathew Holtzen, dies in the opening seconds of the play. Meadowbrook’s murder opens the door for a cast of characters.
Act I opens a few weeks after the alleged suicide, and the Meadowbrook home has been converted into a health resort.
Almost every character has a secret to hide, several have motives and all had the opportunity to commit the crime.
The wise-cracking manager of the health resort soon teams with an over-zealous writer to “crack the case.”
Ivey Dyson plays Lady Riverdale, Haley Rader plays Dyslexia, Evan Chermack plays John Stone, Joe Johnson plays Ralph Deadwood, Katherine Jones plays Margaret Daniels, Robert Larmore plays Alfred Mellox, Shaylee Scott plays Edith Chiles, Charity Bliss plays “Sweet Pea” Meadowbrook, Taylor Scott plays Dick Simmering, Bailey Wilson plays Anne and Blake Recknagel plays Ed Parlor.
Performances will be in the EHS Auditorium. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students.
