ENID, Okla. —
Donelson Construction will apply MAQS application surfacing system today on Evendale, Arlene, Willa Jean and West Ritchie.
The resurfacing project will start on Evendale.
Robinson Camp, deputy director of public works for the city of Enid, said the process called Modified Aggregated Quick Set (MAQS) surfacing system works well on correlated asphalt.
“This product will greatly improve an asphalt road, which is cheaper than having a road overlaid with just asphalt,” Camp said. “This patented product uses a latex modified asphalt emulsion to help bond to the old asphalt and create a smooth overlay.”
