ENID, Okla. — Debbie Wedel, of the Oklahoma Wheat Commission, will be demonstrating the process of baking fresh bread at 7 p.m. Monday at Garfield County Extension Center, 316 E. Oxford. The event is open to the public. Wedel will bring samples, tips, and materials to all who attend. Following the demonstration, the OHCE will be meeting for Fall Council.

Anthony Brown Jr., 20, was charged Thursday with first-degree murder in the 2012 Enid shooting death.

Tremor was about 18 miles east of Enid, or about two miles east and a mile north of Garber, with a depth of 5.1 kilometers.

2 deputies hurt in collision
Deputies Dariel Momsen and Travis Sheets both were taken to a local hospital with back and neck injuries.

Nikisha Lynn Farris, 34, was identified as the driver of a 2013 Hyundai Accent. William Othel Maddox, 57, was identified as her passenger.
