ENID, Okla. — Members of the Drummond High School Quiz Bowl team will step up to do battle with Kingfisher High School in the unforgiving venue of a television studio.

The Drummond-Kingfisher competition will be on KSBI “Mind Games,” seen at 6:30 p.m. Sunday on channel 16 for Suddenlink customers, channel 8 for Pioneer subscribers and channel 51 for DISH.

Tyler Messall is captain of the Drummond team. With him will be Tim Vasquez and Aaron Cornell. Other members of the team are Daniel Carel, Miles Shaddy and McKenna Morrison.

At 6 p.m. Sunday, “Mind Games College Edition” will be broadcast. Several Drummond graduates play for various colleges, including Zakk Burdig, Northwestern Oklahoma State University; Erica Christner, Southwestern Oklahoma State University; and Evan Mooney and William Neiswanger, the University of Oklahoma.

“Be sure to watch both levels to follow the area high school and college students,” said Mike Woods, superintendent of Drummond Public Schools.
