WAUKOMIS, Okla. — Waukomis Police Department is investigating the discovery of a suspected meth lab Tuesday morning.

Chief Robert Asch said the lab was found in a vehicle and was reported about at 10 a.m. to police. Officers still are trying to determine at what stage of the manufacture process the lab was in when law enforcement officers arrived.

Asch said the owner of the vehicle reported finding the lab after loaning the vehicle to another person. The vehicle was parked in the 200 block of South 3rd. The investigation is ongoing.

Members of the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office assisted with disposal of the lab. No arrests have been made and no injuries were reported.
