Bell stolen from church

ENID, Okla. — On Dec. 2, a theft was reported to the Enid Police Department.

The reporting party said sometime between Nov. 23 and 30, a theft occurred at New Hope United Methodist Church, 614 N. Garland.

A bell, approximately 3 feet tall by 3 feet in diameter, was taken from the church. The bell is cast iron and painted black, weighing about 1,000 pounds. The bell had been sitting in the northwest part of the parking lot at the time of the theft.

The estimated value of the property is at $10,000.
