ENID, Okla. — Garfield County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for information about a stolen truck and tools.

Sheriff Jerry Niles said deputies received a report Wednesday morning from a man who is watching a neighbor’s property. The man was at the residence in the 27000 block of East Carrier Road on Monday, and when he returned Wednesday morning, the 1998 maroon Chevy Z-71 was missing from a barn on the property, along with a red and black Lincoln portable welder and a battery charger.

The truck’s tag is Oklahoma 921-EPF, and Niles said the truck’s frame has been bowed, so the cab and the bed of the truck touch.

The estimated value of the truck and tools is about $5,000.

Anyone having information that will lead to the arrest or prosecution of a suspect is urged to call Garfield County Crime Stoppers at (580) 233-6233. Callers may remain anonymous and will not be required to testify.

Those with information also may contact Garfield County Sheriff’s Office at (580) 237-0244.
