ENID, Okla. —
The Gate is a new ministry in Enid and is the heart of Sue Hughes, former praise and worship leader at Women’s Aglow and Faith Center in Meno.
“The Gate is a place for the hungry, where we can explore the supernatural realm of the Kingdom of Heaven together,” Hughes said. “A place to connect with those who hunger for the reality of God, where we can equip a company of burning hearts who live from heaven to earth. “he Gate is all about the Father’s business and lifting up the name of Jesus. It is not connected to a denomination so that all will feel welcome to attend.”
The Gate will hold its first meeting at 6 p.m. Saturday at Yad El Messianc Congregation, 2020 W. Willow in Enid, with guest speaker Carole Rakestraw of Tulsa.
Donita Bowlin will lead praise and worship.
Rakestraw has traveled throughout Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri and is known for her simplistic delivery of the word and healing demonstrations.
Hughes is a resident of Kremlin and attends World Harvest Church in Enid. Rabbi Rick and LaVina Koehn of Yad El Massianc Congregation are on the advisory board for The Gate.
The Gate is free and open to the public.
