1 injured in crash

— A Watonga man was injured Tuesday in a one-vehicle accident in the Panhandle.

Kenneth Wagner, 69, was taken to Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report, and admitted in stable condition with arm, leg and trunk injuries.

The accident happened at 4:10 a.m. on U.S. 412 eight miles east of Bryan’s Corner in Beaver County.

According to the report, Wagner was driving a 2005 International west on U.S. 412 when he went off the left side of the road and rolled one-quarter time, coming to rest on the driver’s side.

He was not wearing a seat belt and was pinned for 30 minutes, according to the report. The cause of the accident was listed as apparently sleepy.
