Jet woman injured in rollover

ENID, Okla. — A Jet woman is in stable condition at an Enid hospital after rolling her vehicle on a county road in Alfalfa County Sunday morning.

Jessica Leah Gilliland, 30, was southbound on the county road “at a speed improper for the type of roadway,” according to a report from Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Gilliland lost control went off the left side of the roadway and struck an embankment.

Gilliland’s vehicle rolled a single time, came to rest on its wheels and then caught fire. According to the report, the vehicle information is not available due to the fire caused by the collision.

Gilliland was taken from the scene of the 11 a.m. crash on county road 720, about a half mile south of Coal Road, by Alfalfa County EMS. She was taken to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center and admitted in stable condition with internal body injuries, according to the report.

Gilliland had five female juvenile passengers and a male juvenile passenger, all from Jet. There were no injuries listed for the juvenile passengers.
