2 quakes reported in NW Oklahoma

ENID, Okla. — Two small earthquakes were reported in northwest Oklahoma Wednesday morning.

The first measured magnitude 2.5 at 12:35 a.m. and was centered 12 miles south of Medford, or 17 miles north-northeast of Enid, according to U.S. Geological Survey.

The second quake measured magnitude 3.1 and happened at 10:35 a.m. It was centered 6 miles southeast of Alva.

Both were measured at a depth of about 3.1 miles.
