EPD releases video of man wanted in a home invasion

ENID, Okla. — Enid police have released two videos of a man wanted in connection with a home invasion and theft of a pickup last week and are asking the public’s help in identifying him.

At about 1:30 a.m. June 13 officers responded to a burglary in the 1200 block of East Garriott.

A white male, wearing blue jeans but no shirt, broke into a residence and told the person living at the home he lived there, according to an Enid Police Department news release. The man then took the resident’s keys to a red 2002 Dodge Ram Quad Cab pickup.

The pickup has not been recovered and is valued at $3,000.

The man was seen at a local convenience store following the burglary, and police released video from the store asking the public to identify the man.

Anyone with information about the suspect in this crime is asked to contact EPD at (580) 242-7000 or Garfield County Crime Stoppers at (580) 233-6233.

Residents can anonymously text tips to Garfield County Crime Stoppers at 274637, in the message box type “Enid” followed by your tip. Citizens also can report a tip online by logging onto the Enid Police Department website at www.enid.org/police.

Callers to the tip line can earn up to a $1,000 reward and will not be required to testify or be identified.
