City of Enid’s branding campaign wins award

ENID, Okla. — The city of Enid’s new branding campaign was chosen as an award-winner by National Association of Government Communicators.

The campaign received NAGC’s first place Blue Pencil/Gold Screen award.

“I am very pleased that Enid has been recognized by this nationally known organization,” said City Manager Eric Benson. “Once again, it shows the type of results that can be achieved when talented individuals work together in unison for a common goal.”

The annual international awards program recognizes superior government communication products and those who produce them. Enid was chosen because of its well-executed campaign that required a great deal of research and buy-in from many audiences.

The city of Enid was honored at the NAGC Communications School on April 17 in Arlington, Va.  Enid First committee members comprised of Main Street Enid, Greater Enid Chamber of Commerce, Visit Enid, Enid Regional Development Alliance and the city of Enid were responsible for the rebranding effort.
