Heer’s Country returns Saturday

Heer’s Country will be held 7-10 p.m. Saturday at Longdale Community Gym in Longdale.

Back my popular demand is the legendary Buck Goucher, classic country music artist, who has entertained since 196, in cities across America.

Up-and-coming star Jarod Cross, a classic and current country music artist, also will perform.

June’s edition of Heer’s Country featured a video depicting the theme “Where Words Fail, Music Speaks,” which followed the life journey of Heer’s Country. Special recognition was given to Buck Goucher, Jarod Cross and Don Strecker for their inspiration and support.

“Without them, Heer’s Country would have never been born,” said Sharon Heer, founder of Heer’s Country. “The positive response from folks is wonderful. Folks tell me they are so happy Heer’s Country has been created because they want to hear top entertainment and they appreciate the ‘down home’ atmosphere. Musicians are equally pleased, as bookings are being filled.”
