ENID, Okla. —
An Enid teen was injured Monday evening after being ejected from his motorcycle and striking a parked car.
Taran Black, 14, was taken to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center with incapacitating head and arm injuries following the 6 p.m. incident at 3200 Neilson, according to an Enid Police Department report. Black was westbound on Neilson when he veered to the right for an unknown reason, struck the north curb, laid the bike on its right side and was ejected.
Black struck the rear of a parked Jeep Wrangler and came to rest under the vehicle. Black’s motorcycle continued west, overturning once before coming to rest against the curb at 3200 Neilson.
Black was wearing a helmet, according to the report. The contributing factor in the collision was “inexperienced driver — young.”
