ENID, Okla. — Enid Police Department is seeking the public’s help identifying a man and his accomplice involved in a theft.

Police received a call Thursday from Walmart, 5505 W. Garriott, in reference to a theft that occurred at 10:51 p.m. Monday at the store.

A representative of the store told police at that time a man left the store through a fire exit in the Tire and Lube Express area in the southeast corner of the store, while carrying unidentified merchandise.

The man ran to a vehicle waiting in the parking lot, where he put the merchandise inside and then got into the passenger side. The vehicle left the store traveling in an unknown direction.

The store representative said they believed the man, depicted in surveillance video and stills from video inside the store, is the same man who possibly carried out a 32-inch TV through the same fire door to a waiting vehicle the previous week.

Anyone having information that will lead to the arrest or prosecution of the suspect in this crime or any other crime is urged to call Garfield County Crime Stoppers at (580) 233-6233 or go to the website, per_tips.asp and submit a tip anonymously.
