Basketball camp open to boys ages 7-14

The Kremlin Home Culture HCE met April 9 at the Kremlin Methodist Church with Betty Sissom serving as hostess. Attending were Linda Sader, Carolyn Ott, Jennie Meyer, Sharon Riddle, Bronwyn Streck, Betty Buller, Avis Forbes, Joyce Fales and Stefanie Franklin. Sissom presented a lesson on container gardening. The club collected the items that each member donated to the adopted couple at Greenbrier Nursing Home.

The group discussed placing a memorial plaque honoring former members in Kremlin Park and placing a brick at the Zaloudek Community Building patio.

The club made plans to provide cookies during the Lions Club roadside cleanup. Celebration Day for HCE Week will be 7 p.m. May 9, at the Extension Office. Come out and meet new the director Jessica Nickels. Everyone is encouraged to wear a hat to the meeting.
