ENID, Okla. — Enid Police Department officers arrested a 46-year-old Enid man Thursday following an undercover online investigation.

Hilbrand Pott was arrested on a complaint of soliciting sexual conduct or communication with a minor by use of technology.

The arrest was the result of an undercover online investigation by Sgt. Dustin Albright, an EPD Internet Crimes Against Children investigator, that began Aug. 1.

Pott engaged in an online explicit and sexual conversation with a subject he believed to be a 14-year-old girl, according to a police press release. Pott was arrested Thursday afternoon at 1001 S. Oakwood.

Pott is being held without a bond at Garfield County Detention Facility.

Online court records show a felony count of soliciting sexual conduct or communication with a minor by use of technology was filed Wednesday against Pott in district court and a warrant issued for his arrest.
