Medford’s Haley Cline is crowned Miss NOC

— Haley Cline, of Medford, was crowned Miss Northern Oklahoma College Enid 2013 at the dual Miss NOC Enid-Miss NOC Tonkawa Scholarship Pageant Oct. 16 on the Tonkawa campus.

Crowned by Miss NOC Enid 2012 Morgan Kimble, of Chandler, the NOC sophomore received a $1,000 scholarship, a Miss America crown and pin and a bouquet of long-stemmed red roses. She will compete in the Miss Oklahoma Scholarship Pageant June 1-8 in Tulsa, said Terri Sunderland, associate director of the Miss NOC Pageant.

First runner-up Sydney Postier, of Enid, received a $600 scholarship, and second runner-up Allison Pruitt, of Perry, received a $400 scholarship. Also competing were Bobbie Dewald, of Fargo, and Morgan Trent, of Healdton. Each of the non-finalists received a $250 tuition-waiver scholarship.

During her reign as Miss NOC Enid, Cline will promote awareness of diversity, her platform, by speaking to youngsters in schools to help them realize at an early age the importance of diversity in their lives.

The new Miss NOC Enid is an honor student and a member of Kappa Beta Delta, a business honor society. She is a 2011 graduate of Medford High School and the daughter of Marla and Kenneth Cline, of Medford.
