GARBER, Okla. —
A Garber man was killed this morning in a single-vehicle accident near Billings.
Marvin Stallings, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene of massive injuries, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.
The accident happened at 2 a.m. on Oklahoma 15 about one mile east of Billings in Noble County.
According to the report, Stallings was driving a 2002 Chevrolet pickup west on Oklahoma 15 when he went off the road to the right for an unknown reason. He over-corrected and went off the left side of the road, going into a broadslide and hitting a tree. Stallings was pinned for about six hours, according to the report.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
