ENID, Okla. —
An arrest warrant has been issued for a 34-year-old Enid man charged with first-degree rape.
Taracas Germaine Robinson, also known as Tacarlos Jermaine Robinson, was charged with the felony last week.
The charge alleges Robinson raped a 13-year-old girl sometime between June 1 and Sept. 30, 2013.
According to an affidavit filed in the case, Enid Police Department received a report Jan. 31, 2013, from a woman saying Robinson had raped the 13-year-old girl and she had become pregnant as a result of the rape.
Sgt. Bryan Hart contacted the girl’s mother the same day and requested to interview the girl at Enid Police Department. Hart met with the mother and scheduled an interview with the girl at the Child Advocacy Center for Jan. 2, 2014.
Hart interviewed the girl at 9:27 a.m. Jan. 2, 2014, and she told him she knew why she was there.
She said she has known Robinson for about six years. She said Robinson raped her after she came home from school one afternoon sometime in August, according to the affidavit.
The girl said she came from school and her brother was asleep. She said Robinson was asleep when she went to a bedroom and fell asleep on top of the bedding with her clothing on.
She said Robinson did not say anything to her until after the rape.
The girl was able to explain what rape was and told Hart she had not had sex before the incident or after, according to the affidavit. The girl said after Robinson raped her he told her if she told anyone he would just say he was drunk, according to the affidavit.
The girl said she never told anyone because she was scared. The girl gave birth in late January.
On Feb. 11, Hart spoke with medical staff who said the girl would have become pregnant sometime during the month of June 2013.
Hart contacted the girl again Feb. 13 about the discrepancies of telling him the rape occurred sometime in August and the medical staff saying she became pregnant in June.
The girl said she was not sure when she was raped by Robinson, but said the incident could have occurred closer to June 2013.
Online court records show bond on the warrant for Robinson has been denied.
