Crime Stoppers seeks info. on cigarette theft

ENID, Okla. — Enid Police Department received a report of a burglary at 1:47 a.m. Sept. 15 at Pete’s Market #2, 510 N. 30th.

When officers arrived they found a window in the business’ door broken by a brick that someone used to make entry into the building. Missing were about 150 cartons of Marlboro cigarettes, as well as $1,650 in cash from a safe.

The estimated value of the property estimated at $10,550.

Anyone having information that will lead to the arrest or prosecution of any crime is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (580) 233-6233. Tipsters can earn a reward up to $1,000 and will not be required to testify or be identified. Callers also may contact the Enid Police Department with information at 242-7000.
