ENID, Okla. — Emergency officials say there were no apparent serious injuries after a pickup clipped a train but avoided a serious collision east of Enid Thursday morning.

Visibility was only about 150 feet on U.S. 412 around 9 this morning when the accident occurred in the 8000 block of East U.S. 412. There has been no word yet if weather conditions contributed to the accident.

The wreck shut the highway down for a time in all lanes of traffic, but the road has since opened.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers, ambulance and fire officials responded to the scene, Garfield County Sheriff Jerry Niles said.
