Cherokee Strip Piecemakers Quilt Guild to meet

Enid News and Eagle

ENID, Okla. — Cherokee Strip Piecemakers Quilt Guild will meet Monday at Central Christian Church, 1111 W. Broadway.

Registration and hospitality are 6-6:30 p.m., with a short business meeting to follow.

February’s program will involve all of you. Organizers want to have a relaxing time, game playing, no challenges, nothing but fun.

If you wish to participate, bring some basic things: a pencil, approximately 25 buttons.

If you want to play a game called “Fat Quarter LCR,” (left, center, right) bring three fat quarters or more to participate.

There will be prizes for the winners of the games and a silent auction also will be held.

The mission of the Cherokee Strip Piecemakers is to preserve the heritage and art of quilting, to be a source of information, education and inspiration, and to be a gathering place for people of a common interest.

Guests of all skill levels are welcome.
