ENID, Okla. —
A student pilot allegedly stabbed at Vance Air Force Base was treated and released for his injuries, according to a Federal Bureau of Investigation spokesman.
FBI Media Representative Martinus McConnell would not confirm that the student pilot had even been stabbed.
“We’re not providing any specific details as to what actually occurred, as the investigation is ongoing. There was an altercation between two individuals in which one did sustain some injuries, was treated for those injuries and released.”
McConnell said the FBI is working in coordination with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations regarding the incident at the base.
“There’s no specific details regarding the incident that we can release,” he said. “At this time, the U.S. Attorney’s office will consider charges, pending the outcome of the investigation. But right now, no determinations have been made.
“At this point, there is no arrest to my knowledge.”
The victim’s name is still not being released. The incident reportedly occurred around 4:15 p.m. Monday in base student housing.
