Floyd to become new EPS superintendent

ENID, Okla. — Darrell Floyd is expected to be hired tonight as the new Enid Public Schools superintendent.

The EPS Board of Education is scheduled to vote at 5:30 p.m. at the central office.

Floyd comes to Enid after 14 years as superintendent of Stephenville ISD in Stephenville, Texas. He is tentatively set to begin in Enid June 1.

He replaces Shawn Hime, who will become executive director of the Oklahoma State School Boards Association.
