Two small earthquakes were reported Tuesday morning in the Medford area.
The first hit at 9:58 a.m. and measured magnitude 2.5. It was centered 16 miles west-southwest of Medford. The second, also magnitude 2.5, hit at 10:57 a.m. and was centered 11 miles south-southeast of Medford.
Both were recorded at a depth of about 3.1 miles.
The Medford area has been active lately, with four earthquakes reported Saturday afternoon south-southeast of the Grant County seat.
A 2.3 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 11:36 p.m. Sunday 8 miles northeast of Enid.
