ENID, Okla. —
A reconstruction project for Westchester Drive from Chestnut north to the dead end will begin Monday.
The first phase of the project will be pavement removal. Residential streets in the area will be reconstructed in four phases.
Phase Two of the project will impact Yorkshire Drive near Westchester.
Phase Three will focus on the reconstruction of Westchester Drive south of Yorkshire Drive.
Phase Four will be reconstruction efforts on Yorkshire Drive just west of Westchester Drive.
A construction sequence plan has been sent to residents showing the proposed phasing.
One-half of Yorkshire Drive to the east will remain open at all times. City officials urge residents to drive with caution in the construction areas.
All phases of the project are expected to be completed within a two- to three-month time frame.
