ENID, Okla. — Nominations for Enid Young Professionals' 10 Under 40 award winners have been extended to July 3.
Access the nomination forms HERE.
Nominations can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org or to Greater Enid Chamber of Commerce, 210 Kenwood Blvd., P.O. Box 907, Enid, OK, 73702.
Nominees must be between the ages of 22 and 40 on or before Aug. 28, 2013. Nominations should include information about the nominator and the person being nominated. Nominees will be contacted by EYP for a resume and additional information by July 8.
Nominated individuals should demonstrate qualities of excellence in professional and community aspects. Winners will be determined by an independent panel of judges and announced during the 10 Under 40 luncheon Aug. 29.
EYP is a local organization formed in 2009 to address the needs and goals of the under 40 demographic in the greater Enid area.
“The group’s ultimate goal is to retain the current pool of talent the Enid community has, as well as attract new talent to our thriving area,” said EYP President Cody Joliff. “We highly encourage our members to become involved in area boards, service organizations and local government.”
Nominations received will be narrowed down to the top 10 by a panel of independent judges composed of local community and business leaders. The top 10 will be announced and honored at a luncheon Aug. 29 at Convention Hall.
“We had such a great response last year to the awards and luncheon,” said EYP Vice President Rynn Day. “We are excited to be planning for an even bigger turn-out this year.”
The luncheon will include Oklahoma Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb as guest speaker.
“Our goal is to help spotlight the talented up-and-coming young professionals in our area that are making a difference in the community every day,” said Tim Campbell, EYP 10 Under 40 chair.
