ENID, Okla. —
Enid Public Schools Board of Education members are asking for assistance from the community as they search for the next school superintendent.
Parents, community members, students and employees are encouraged to complete an online survey about the search by going to the district’s website at www.enidpublic schools.org/survey.
The survey takes about five minutes to complete, said Amber Fitzgerald, EPS director of human resources and communications. It includes questions about district services, as well as desired qualities for the next superintendent. It will be open through Monday.
If community members would like to complete a survey, but do not have Internet access, they are asked to contact their neighborhood school.
Superintendent Shawn Hime has accepted a position with Oklahoma State Schools Board Association, beginning April 1. He has been EPS superintendent since 2008.

• Interviews will be conducted mid-March to early April.
• Selection of the candidate will be completed no later than May.
