ENID, Okla. —
A public hearing is scheduled for Monday for the needs assessment phase of the five-year consolidated plan and in planning fiscal year 2013 activities to achieve the neighborhood and community development strategies in the consolidated plan.
The meeting will be 6 p.m. Monday in city commission chambers in the city administration building, 401 W. Garriott.
All residents and representatives of agencies and nonprofit organizations are invited to attend.
City officials believe the needs identified will be met through the use of federal Community Development Block Grant funds. The city of Enid will submit the 2013 – 2017 five-year consolidated plan and annual action plan of activities to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in May 2013.
The CDBG program, which is a grant under HUD, is administered using a program year running from July 1 to June 30.
