ENID, Okla. — The Cherokee Strip Piecemakers Quilt Guild will meet Monday at Central Christian Church, 1111 W. Broadway. Registration and hospitality begin at 6 and 6:30 p.m., with a short business meeting to follow.

Guest speaker is Sherry Meeks of Guthrie. Her presentation will be “Everything Old is New Again.”

Meeks is an avid traveler, quilter and teacher who attends classes at a different quilt convention each summer and brings her new found knowledge to share with other quilters.

She believes strongly in the need to preserve historic quilt patterns and vintage quilting designs, but she also embraces the simplicity found in new modern quilts.

The mission of the Cherokee Strip Piecemakers is to preserve the heritage and art of quilting, to be a source of information, education and inspiration, and to be a gathering place for people of a common interest.

Guests of all skill levels are welcome.
