Representatives of the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs travel on an itinerant basis offering assistance in all counties throughout the state.
Linda Turner is a veterans service representative for the Enid and surrounding area. Veterans may call (918) 397-2568 for an appointment at any of the following sites:
Monday: Guthrie — 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Guthrie American Legion.
Tuesday: Alva — 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Woods County Court House.
Wednesday: Medford — 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the District 2 office.
Thursday: Kingfisher — 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Kingfisher County Court House.
Friday: Enid — 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Workforce Center.
“The mission of the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs is to ensure all Oklahoma veterans and their families receive all benefits to which they may be entitled and provide excellent health services and long-term skilled care in a residential environment to all qualified wartime veterans residing in the state,” Turner said.
