ENID, Okla. —
Competing with the likes of James Patterson and Lee Child, Enid author Lucie Smoker’s “Distortion” broke into the top 20 Kindle murder mysteries, currently sitting at No. 14.
The book is published by Oklahoma’s Buzz Books USA.
“Distortion” is a suspense novel about an artist who paints a crime scene in reverse perspective and turns a murder investigation backwards — onto her friends.
Smoker is an Enid mom who home-schools by day, works nights at JCPenney and writes in her spare time. She is a member of Enid Writers Club.
