ENID, Okla. —
A Texas man was injured Monday night northwest of Hillsdale, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
Donald C. Billings, 56, of Hereford, Texas, was transported by Pond Creek EMS to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center following the 9:30 p.m. rollover on Oklahoma 132 two miles north and one mile east of Hillsdale.
Billings was northbound in a 1998 Ford F-150 when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road, struck a sign, hit the ditch and rolled two times, according to an OHP report. Billings was pinned for about 20 minutes before being freed from the wreckage by Nash Fire Department.
He was admitted to St. Mary’s in stable condition with head, arm, leg and external trunk injuries, according to the report.
The patrol lists Billings’ condition at the time crash as “ability impaired/alcohol” and the cause as DUI. Billings was wearing his seat belt at the time of the collision, the patrol reported.
