Air Force sergeants group to host sale

Enid News & Eagle

— The Air Force Sergeants Association Chapter 990 is scheduled to host a rummage sale 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the areas around Karma’s Retro Shoppe, 1713 S. Van Buren.

Due to security issues, the Vance AFB semiannual yard sale will not be held on base, so AFSA is sponsoring this sale in its place. The funds raised by donated items to AFSA will be utilized for the Moore tornado relief and to assist in helping sponsor the first Vance AFB Enlisted Dining Out. Besides donating items for sale to AFSA through Master Sgt. Bob Woodin, president, (208) 591-0786, there will be several other booths selling household and miscellaneous items to include boat and trailer, three wheeled motorcycle and trailer, and much more.

AFSA asks buyers to be considerate to allow the sellers to set up since we have limited time to sell and per city rules sales cannot begin before 8 a.m. Parking will be available behind the car wash/storage locker area, across the street and in Attorney Tina Hall’s parking area. For availability of rental space, contact James Bolinger at 478-8550 or Stan Nowak at 484-2785.

Everyone is invited to share the fun.
