Tickets remain for annual ‘Forget Me Not Luncheon’

ENID, Okla. — Tickets remain available for the fourth annual Garfield County Child Advocacy Council “Forget Me Not Luncheon” on Thursday.

Amber and Ray Gill will be guest speakers this year.

“They will describe the process of adopting their daughter through the DHS adoption system,” said Carole Wade, executive director of Garfield County CARE Campus.

The luncheon will be at noon Thursday at Oakwood Country Club. Tickets are $100.

All donations go to the Endowment Fund, established through the Cherokee Strip Community Foundation.

Mystery boxes can be purchased for $20.

Three will contain special prizes: a Pandora Bracelet with charm donated by Jackson’s Diamond Jewelers; an iPad Mini; and $100 cash.

Napkin rings used at the luncheon will be impregnated with flower seeds and can be planted in a garden.

To make a reservation, contact the GCCAC office at (580) 242-1153, by Tuesday.

“Forget Me Not” has been designated a permanent theme for the annual agency fundraiser.

Park Avenue Thrift is underwriting the cost of the luncheon.
