Gaslight Kids’ Drama Camp taking applications

ENID, Okla. — Applications are available for Gaslight Kids’ Drama Camp.

Students who have completed kindergarten through fifth grade are eligible to participate. Students will participate in classes for acting, singing and dancing. They will learn the basics of auditioning, costuming and set design and construction.

Older students also will learn the basics of lighting and sound design and have the opportunity to work in the tech booth for all productions. The camp will culminate with a production of “Disney Kids the Aristocats.”

Sessions run May 27-June 20, with performances June 21 and 22. Students may attend the morning session, which meets 8 a.m. to noon, or the afternoon session, which meets 1-5 p.m.

This year’s staff includes co-directors Janet Jones and Chelsea Hunter and returning instructors Terri Galer, Jonathan Suttmiller and Catina Sundvall.

Both full and partial scholarships are available. Applications will be accepted through May 10.
