ENID, Okla. —
A Caldwell, Kan., man was injured Thursday in a single-vehicle accident in Grant County.
Austin Wyatt Brown, 24, was admitted to Integris Bass Baptist Health Center in stable condition with trunk injuries, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.
The accident happened at 3:45 p.m. on U.S. 81 just south of the Oklahoma-Kansas state line.
According to the report, Brown was driving a 2013 Ford Mustang north while holding the steering wheel with his knee. His car went off the east side of the highway, over a culvert and into a ravine.
Brown was wearing a seat belt, according to the report, which listed “inattention” as the cause.
